Is Shen Healings real?

No — Shen Healings is not a real person: an openly disclosed AI persona.

Shen is an elderly sage with long white hair who shares natural health advice for Americans.

On October 24, 2026 the Instagram account @shen.healings_ had about 655,000 followers and 1,786 posts, and its bio read "Based in the United States", "Helping Americans feel healthier naturally" and "Get Black Seed Oil Here", above a shopping link.

He isn’t a real person, and the account says so itself. His profile carries Instagram's "AI-generated profile" label. Opened, it reads "shen.healings_ added an AI label to their profile" and "This profile features an AI-generated person instead of a real human."

Instagram's "About this account" panel says the account joined in January 2025, is based in Greece, has two former usernames and has been verified since October 2026.

The bio says "Based in the United States"; Instagram’s own panel says the account is based in Greece. The blue badge doesn’t make him a real person either: the same panel shows the account verified since October 2026 while carrying its AI label. We found nobody named as the person or company behind the account.

Because the disclosure is the account's own, the verdict holds even if it is later removed. This page is about the account; it makes no claim about any real person whose likeness may appear in its images. It is unclaimed and compiled from public sources.
