What we collect
Creator pages collect nothing from fans — no emails, no accounts, no forms. (They used to carry a follow box; we retired it in August 2026 and deleted the handful of signups it had gathered.) Two forms exist on this site. The investigations list — the opt-in box on our documentation and press pages — stores the email you typed and when you joined. The claim form stores the email and handle a creator submits so we can verify her page is hers. That's the whole record. We don't ask for a name, a password, or anything else.
Why we collect it
The investigations list exists to tell you when the next investigation publishes — that's its entire purpose. Claim emails exist so we can verify and reach the creator claiming her page. We don't email anyone for any other reason.
What we never do
We never sell your email. We never share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone outside VerifiedHer. We don't build fan lists for creators: if a claimed creator turns fan alerts on, that list is opt-in, hers, and used only for the alerts fans asked for — never to target you with ads.
Tracking and analytics
No ad pixels, no cross-site trackers, no cookies that follow you around the web. We use Cloudflare's cookieless web analytics to see how many people visit which pages — it can't identify you and doesn't work across sites. When you click a creator's “claim this page” link, we log an anonymous count for that page (no email, no cookie attached to it) so we know which pages creators are trying to reach us about.
Unsubscribe anytime
Every follow list has one-click unsubscribe. You can also remove yourself directly, any time, at /unsubscribe — it clears your email from every creator's follow list at once.
Delete your data
