Is Helena Vilar real?

No — Helena Vilar is not a real person: an openly disclosed AI persona.

Helena Vilar shares natural-health recipes in Portuguese and sells a recipe book under her name.

On October 24, 2026 the Instagram account @heleneinert had about 371,000 followers and 113 posts, and its bio read in Portuguese, "simple recipes to look after your health day to day", a "natural health guide + 500 recipes" and an invitation to tap the link, above a page selling her book.

She isn’t a real person, and the account says so itself. Her profile carries Instagram's "AI-generated profile" label. Opened, it reads "heleneinert added an AI label to their profile" and "This profile features an AI-generated person instead of a real human."

Instagram's "About this account" panel says the account joined in May 2026, is based in Brazil, has one former username and has been verified since August 2026.

The book’s sales page names "Helena Vilar" as its author and points back to @heleneinert. The author is an AI character; whoever runs the account wrote or assembled the book. The blue badge doesn’t make her real either. We found nobody named as the person or company behind the account.

Because the disclosure is the account's own, the verdict holds even if it is later removed. This page is about the account; it makes no claim about any real person whose likeness may appear in its images. It is unclaimed and compiled from public sources.
