FN Meka
◆ Openly Virtual No — FN Meka is not a real person: an openly disclosed AI persona.
FN Meka is an animated rapper character. On October 21, 2026 his verified Instagram, @fnmeka, showed the display name "Meka | [Virtual Rapper]", about 147,000 followers and 149 posts, with the bio "Robot Rapper not accepted by this world 🌍". His X account, @fnmeka, describes him as an "A.I. Robot Rapper".
He was made by Factory New, which described itself in 2021 as a music company "specializing in virtual beings" and said at the time that AI was involved in making his music.
In August 2022 the project's former spokesperson said those AI remarks were meant to create intrigue and that the vocals were written and performed by humans. So "virtual rapper" is accurate; "AI rapper" is a description the project's own former spokesperson walked back.
His Instagram name changed from "[A.I. Robot Rapper]" in 2021 to "[Virtual Rapper]" by August 30, 2022.
Capitol Music Group announced in August 2022 that it had signed him, as reported by Digital Music News on August 12.
After public criticism of the character, including an open letter from the activist group Industry Blackout, Capitol told XXL on August 23, 2022 that it had "severed ties with the FN Meka project" and apologised to the Black community.
Before the deal he was reported to have more than 10 million TikTok followers (Digital Music News, August 2022). This page is unclaimed and compiled from public sources.
