Is Deanna Ritter real? No — and here's exactly how we know.
The short answer: Deanna Ritter is not a real person. She is a virtual creator — an AI-generated persona that has been active online since around August 2022. That's not an accusation; it's what the documented record shows, including her own accounts.
The evidence, piece by piece
1. Her Instagram is labelled AI, by its owner. Her Instagram, @deannaritter98 (about 647,000 followers on October 29, 2026), carries Instagram's “AI-generated profile” label. Tap it and Instagram says the account added the label itself, and explains it as “This profile features an AI-generated person instead of a real human.” Her bios on Instagram, X and TikTok read “America's favorite virtual girl,” and her Threads bio reads “virtual influencer.” It's easy to miss if you're scrolling, which is exactly why people keep searching this question.
2. National press identified her as AI. In January 2024, NBC News named Deanna Ritter as an example of an AI-generated influencer account in its reporting on undisclosed AI influencers — noting that much of her content carried no AI disclaimer at all.
3. Nobody has ever appeared as her. There is no live video, interview, podcast, or in-person appearance by Deanna Ritter anywhere on record. On its own that wouldn't prove anything, but here it matches what her own label says.
What about her “sisters”?
Her account presents a family of personas. A January 2026 “family photo” post, co-authored with five other accounts, names Delaney, Adriana, Raven and Yvonne and tells followers to follow “my sisters as well.” Delaney Ritter has her own page; her account doesn't say she's AI, so we keep her as unproven. Sabrina Ritter is a separate AI-labelled account with the same surname. She isn't among the sisters Deanna's post names.
So who runs her?
Honestly: nobody knows, publicly. No studio, agency, or individual has publicly claimed to operate the persona. Her truth page carries the ◆ Openly Virtual stamp because the account discloses it, and it lists every account that appears to be connected to the persona and flags the ones that aren't.
Watch out for the fakes trading on her name
An AI persona can still have impersonators — and she does. Her X account once warned that her Facebook had been deactivated and that Facebook accounts using her name or photos were fakes. Since then her second Instagram, @deanna_ritter98, has linked a Facebook page called “Deanna Ritter” (about 141,000 followers in October 2026). Treat any other Facebook account using her name as unconfirmed. “Leaked content” pages using her name circulate in search results; she is an AI-generated persona, and such pages are clickbait or scams. And note: the website deannaritter.com belongs to a different, real person who simply shares the name — it has no connection to this persona.
Why this page exists
About 320 people a month search “is deanna ritter a real person” — and until now, no page on the internet gave a direct, sourced answer. VerifiedHer keeps one truth page per creator: real ones are documented in long-form video, verified appearances, or third-party confirmation, AI personas that disclose it get ◆ Openly Virtual, and everything is reviewed by humans with sources shown.
